"Professional" tracks

"Engines and Turbmachinery" (Milano Bovisa)

This study plan provides solid basic training in the principles regulating the function of internal combustion engines and turbine engines. The courses in this study plan deal primarily with the fluid dynamic, energy and ecological issues presented by the engines currently used for land and air propulsion, studied alongside the innovative solutions now being explored.

Programme courses of third year - track "Engines and Turbmachinery"

"Industrial Plant Engineering” (Milano Bovisa)

This study plan provides solid basic training in the principles regulating the design, general management and definition of the performance specifications of production systems and/or plant services. The design of productive and service systems, safety, management of productive systems, quality management and logistics are studied in-depth.

Programme courses of third year - track “Industrial Plant Engineering”

"Technological Processes" (Milano Bovisa)

This study plan trains production technicians capable of working with the technological processes used by manufacturing companies. Students on this track will therefore learn to identify, in relation to product requirements, the types of materials to use, the main mechanical characteristics and the processes used for modifying them, transformation technologies, the relative parameters for regulation and control and the methods for verifying obtained results.

Programme courses of third year - track "Technological Processes”

"Design" (Milano Bovisa)

This study plan trains technicians capable of working in the field of designing components and mechanical systems. Students on this track analyse the design and verification aspects of machine parts; the design, modelling and calculation aspects of components and structures and the study of operations and the dynamic and control elements of machines and mechanical systems.

Programme courses of third year - track "Design”

"Vehicles" (Milano Bovisa)

This study plan trains technicians qualified to fix mechanical problems connected to the design, maintenance and operation of road vehicles and track vehicles. Graduates of this track can work in the technical offices of vehicle manufacturers and transport companies, as well as at service companies operating in the vehicle sector.

Programme courses of third year - track “Vehicles”

"Production plants and machinery" (Piacenza)

This study plan focuses on the field of mechanical and energy systems, industrial logistics and mechanical processing systems.  Graduates of this track will have acquired broad training favouring entry into the job market in the area of industrial manufacturing and at engineering and service companies and professional firms.
